ProTrade Optimum version 28 contains the following new features and other improvements:
NOTE: ProTrade Optimum now requires Java version 1.6x or above. The latest version of Java can be downloaded from www.java.com
New Features
You can now drag and drop symbols between windows in ProTrade Optimum. For example, you can drag a symbol from the Market Minder window to the Level II or Ticker windows to change the view. You can also click and drag symbols from Yahoo! Finance and Google Finance pages on the web. Simply highlight a symbol and click and drag it to ProTrade Optimum.
New Alarms and Alarms Settings buttons on the main window can be used to quickly set and view alarms. Click the Alarm Settings window to add and remove alarms. Click the Alarms button to display a list of alarms
Charting now support Logarithmic Scaling. You can now select between Linear and Logarithmic scaling in the Chart window. Logarithmic scales for stock charts allow you to compare details in a more meaningful way, even when the price varies over a wide range. They also reflect the relative nature of stock price movement (eg, a 5 point move in a $10 stock is much more drastic than the same point-value move in a $100 stock), thus making side-by-side comparison of charts more relevant. To view Logarithmic charting in the Chart window, right-click the Chart window and select Settings to view the Chart Settings window. Select Logarithmic from the Period drop-down.
Enhancements
Support for Recent NASDAQ Symbology Changes. ProTrade Optimum now supports recent NASDAQ Symbology changes. NASDAQ has eliminated the upper case fifth letters in its symbols and replaced them with its Integrated Platform suffixes.
ProTrade Optimum Requires Java version 1.6x or Above. The lastest version of Java can be downloaded form www.java.com.
Support for Pink Sheet Requirements for Caveat Emptor Security Classification. The Caveat Emptor indicator is used by Pink Sheets to issue a Buyer Beware warning to investors in Pink Sheets or OTCBB securities. If this property is set in the Security message there is a public interest concern associated with the company, which may include a spam campaign, stock promotion or known investigation of fraudulent activity committed by the company or insiders. The Caveat Emptor warning is a valuable tool for broker-dealers to identify questionable customer activity as part of their internal compliance and AML programs. Caveat Emptor fields are now available on the Level I panel, Order Status Window, Basket Order Entry, Blotter, and Market Minder windows. The field will display “True” for securities that have been issued a Buyer Beware warning.

Corrected issue where removing a symbol from the Basket Order Entry window could cause an exception
Corrected issue where the Backet Order Entry window would request to be saved when no changes were made
Corrected issue where level 1 information would not display clearly in OS X
